Welcome to the Franklin College Family 

I am giving you an assignment right away: Find the Franklin in you! 

Ben Franklin was an inventor, a diplomat, an author, a musician, a printer, a scientist, and a postmaster.  Who better to symbolize the spirit and the mission of Franklin College than a man who personified the liberal arts education and was perhaps the most accomplished American of his age.  And who better to model your college explorations after. 

So how did he do it?  Benjamin Franklin had a passion for learning!  He studied fine arts, writing, the natural sciences, and government.  He was also involved in many organizations and participated in athletics.  All of these experiences led Benjamin Franklin to discover himself and discover that his possibilities were endless.  Sound familiar? 

Once you arrive on campus do not be afraid to step out of your comfort zone and out of your dorm room.  Appreciate your courses in fine arts, writing, science, and government.  Get involved in organizations.  Participate in athletics.  Try new things and discover what you are passionate about.  Do as much as you can as often as you can to find the Franklin in you!
